About
My name is Elisa Bazurli
I am a Chartered Clinical, Counselling, and Occupational Psychologist with extensive experience in both hospital and private settings. I have worked in various public and private organisations, providing clinical services to clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. This includes, but is not limited to, intimacy-related issues, family conflict, narcissistic abuse, trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment disorders, work-related challenges, and low confidence and self-esteem. I also have a strong interest in working with couples and relationship difficulties.

I have gained extensive experience in providing clinical supervision to qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists, and assistant psychologists in my previous role as Deputy Head of the Psychology Department in a hospital setting and in my current role as Clinical Lead in a private psychology clinic.

I am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a registered practitioner with the Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Association, and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Counselling, and Occupational Psychologist. In addition to my broad clinical experience, I have specialised training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a trained Systemic Practitioner with an intermediate certificate in systemic therapy, focusing on families and couples.

In my clinical practice, I apply an integrated therapeutic approach to help clients achieve their goals and develop long-lasting strategies. I draw from evidence-based psychological therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Systemic Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).

I approach clients compassionately and aim to create a safe and non-judgemental environment for them to share their thoughts and feelings. By collaborating with clients, I strive to help individuals build resilience and coping skills that will last beyond the therapeutic setting. My ultimate goal is to empower clients to live their lives to the fullest by exploring their unique experiences and addressing underlying issues that may be causing distress.
